Christmas Out West - A&R

The stars have aligned (work and travel schedules) and the Martens family got together again in B.C. for Christmas time. We got to see Silas (who's amazingly conversant and expressive in sign language thanks to Baby Signing Time), Ben, Julia, Chris, and Aaron's parents.

Silas spent a good portion of each day watching the boys fly Dad's remote control helicopter, meanwhile Racheal spent most of her day's taking pictures of Silas with her new lens.

In addition we got to see Racheal's mom, brother, sister, and nephew over in Horseshoe Bay. 

As a special treat, we spent my birthday with Gord and Mom, visiting Science World and downtown Vancouver.

First Peek at Fin - A&R

On Christmas Eve, Mom M had arranged for us to get a peek at our little one and thanks to one of her co-workers we got pictures, and she wrote out the gender in an envelope for us to open Christmas morning.

Christmas Parties and Decorations - R

We got to partake of two work Christmas parties this year as Aaron and my schedules allowed us to attend both the DOJ and nursing staff parties.

We kept decorations at home to a minimum because we're heading to B.C. to spend the holidays with family, but we did put up the tree.
